2.17 Emotions

Advisory: Some bloody scenes

Blair had be travelling from town to town never staying to long. He could often be found at a local bar drinking the day away. His thoughts of how he left Teddy were still playing on his mind.

Teddy was a beautiful woman and she was reaching out to him but yet he still pulled away. He questioned himself time and time again why was he keeping his distance but he couldn't give a good answer as to why. He always found more questions than answers like was he still hurting, Teddy had just broken up with someone and by the sounds of things it had been a bad relationship.

Since his one night stand with Maria, he had spoken to her and learnt real relationships could not be rushed and it was about being there for one another. Blair loved control but could he bend the rules and allow someone to get close? He wanted to know what it was like to be close and intimate with someone. Even though he wanted a relationship could he really show his vulnerable side and not be so argumentative?

When he first saw her, he could see she was upset and giving a lift home to a stranger was the first time he thought about anyone other than himself, if he was being honest. He needed to see her and talk to her about all his thoughts so he made his way home.

It was late when he arrived and he was pleased to see the living room light on. Great we can talk Blair thought.

As he approached the house he suddenly sensed something was off and when he opened the front door he could see Teddy in front of him bleeding and crying. He went straight to her and asked what happened but he couldn't get an answer from her.
He heard a noise behind him and as he turned around saw a guy launching himself at him.

He didn't think twice he pinned this guy to the wall and said, "What are you doing in my house?"
The intruder spat back, "So you're the one screwing my girl."
"I haven't screwed her. Why did you hurt her?" as his grip got tighter.
"She belongs to me and not to anyone else." trying not to show his fear but Blair could smell it and coldly replied, "Brave words for a guy who is about to die. Just before you die, you should know Teddy belongs to no one but herself."

Blair then attacked him not letting up. The guy was bleeding from any part Blair could get too. His emotions were consumed by this guy hurting Teddy and Blair kept going until the intruder's corpse just lay there.

He suddenly realised that Teddy had seen the whole thing and wiping the blood from his mouth turned to Teddy and said, "We need to get you out of here." as he picked her up carrying her out of the room.
"Teddy you look pale."
"What happened?" she asked Blair
"That's not important we need to get you cleaned up and treated.
"Is he dead?"
"Yes."
"How did the guy get in?"
"He forced his way in and attacked me. It was my ex." as she looked at the floor
"I guessed it was him. Stay here while I clean up in the other room."
When he came back to check on Teddy, she was gone. He went to her house but she wasn't there and all her clothes were gone. He called at the neighbours and they told him a taxi had picked her up an hour ago and she had a suitcase with her.
Blair went home annoyed with himself.  "How could I let her see that? Now she's frightened of me but he hurt her what was I supposed to do?" as he questioned his thoughts. He started to pace the floor when there was a knock at his door.

"Estevan it's not a good time." as he let him in.
"Elvira?"
"No. I let Teddy stay here as her ex was stalking her. The bastard found her and attacked her. I walked in on it and killed him."
"You got rid of the body?"
"Of course I did but when I came back she was gone."
"Go and find her!"
"She hates me, Estevan. I had to defend her."
"Sounds like she is getting to you. You did the right thing. Go and change out of those bloody clothes first then go and find her."

Blair had now looked at all the places he could think of, from the gym to every bar and still there was no sign of her. He even went to the hospital but no woman fitting her description had come in for treatment. He decided to see if she had taken any flights anywhere but her name was not on any list at the airport. He was on his way to the station to see if she was booked on a train but still nothing.
Where would she have gone? How would she get there? As he thought about where he could try next.

  1. Oh no :( Blair should not have done that. I understand his anger, but, to kill him right before her eyes was not smart. Looking forward to more.

  2. Zhippidy,

You are right Blair shouldn't have done that but I think the thought of Teddy hurt consumed him.

How will she feel now and how will Blair handle this will be interesting :)

  3. Hmmmm, i'm not sure he should have let Teddy see but if i was Blair i can't say i wouldn't have done the same, her ex had some real issues, he deserved it imho.

I'm hoping Teddy can see through being afraid of Blair to know he was only protecting her. I would hate for him to allow himself to feel for someone again only to find out she can't stand him, i'm thinking that may push him over the edge of ever really healing or allowing himself to love someone again.

Hope he can find her soon...edenz~

    1. Edenz,

I don't think it was intention to let Teddy see all but his emotions took over. I hope Teddy will see passed this but Blair will now have to find her and explain.

I think it would tip him over the edge if he loses her as well but time will time :)

      Thanks for reading

  4. ~ Surely this should say something to Blair, that he was so consumed with the thought of that man hurting Teddy that he killed him!It would make me think!
~ He does have feelings for her, otherwise he would never have done that!
~ I know it was bad that he did that in front of her,as she was already afraid & scared from her EX,but now she would think that Blair is even worse!
~ He has to find her even if it is only to explain,or to take that memory away!
~ Loved it can not wait for more!(",)

    2. BLAIR WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? WHY DO YOU KEEP KILLING PEOPLE (and whatever Elvira was).

I hope Teddy doesn't turn him in. She'd better go back to him. I feel so sorry for Blair! *sniffle*

    3. MyzKrazyMa,

He killed her Ex because he was going to hurt Teddy and Blair wouldn't let that happen.

Teddy turn him in interesting :)

  5. Blair is finally admitting that he really wants a close relationship with someone. Whether he realizes it or not, he has developed feelings for Teddy!

I wonder where she has gone. Seeing what he did to her ex must have frightened her, but she should realize that he did it for her! Now she doesn't have to be afraid of that her ex will find her again! I hope that she can get past what she saw Blair do and realize that he must care about her!

    Another great chapter!

    1. Daisies,

Blair is developing feeling for Teddy. He did what he did to protect Teddy and that to me speaks volumes. His feelings are growing and now all he has to do is admit it. Find Teddy and explain.

      Thanks for reading

  6. Whoa! What a thing for Teddy to witness. But I'm not sure running away from Blair was the right thing to do, considering how fragile she still is. She needs to talk to someone, get things off her chest. On the other hand, having seen Blair in action, being with him may be the last thing she needs.

    1. Val,

Teddy did see it all. Running away wasn't the answer either. Teddy is in a state but will he find her and be able to explain I hope so.

I don't if she will get with him but she at least needs to hear what he has to say :)

      Thanks for reading:)

  7. Well, at least her ex is dead. LOL. I can understand her running away because she must be scared shitless, and the only kind of man she knew was one who was violent. Granted, Blair's violence came out of the intent to protect her, but in her mind, she probably just saw the violence and freaked out. I hope that she will come around at least and hear what Blair has to say, and that she will heal in time.
