4.30 What does Estevan say?

“Estevan come back to bed.” He looked at her and smiled replying, “In a minute darling just talking to Blair.” Dawn saw that look in his eyes that only said one thing to her, he was about to go back on his promise and go back to dodgy dealings. Estevan’s promise was very simple he was leaving the drugs, cutting his hours to help out with Art and they were going to spend more time together so her question was simple, “Are you dealing drugs?”

Estevan told Blair he’d ring back soon and looked at Dawn, “Blair was asking the question…”

He didn’t get time to finish before Dawn exploded, “Haven’t both of you learnt your lessons? Blair almost lost his life, Art was almost kidnapped and not forgetting the whole family has been affected by this and you want to go back and risk everything? If you go back to drugs honeymoon or not, I’ll leave you.” Then she locked the door behind her and started to pack her things. Estevan knew she wasn’t joking and he had to admit he was deeply in love with her and he couldn’t risk losing her.

He shouted through the door, “Dawn, open this door at once.”
“No now go away.” Estevan was really angry that she wouldn’t open the door and what he said next was harsh and not meant the way it sounded but he had lost his temper, “I have a deal for you quit your business and I’ll say no.”

Dawn opened the door in temper and said, “Who the hell do you think you are? I will not quit my business because you say so.”
“At least it got you to open the door. When we have a baby you’ll need to stay home.” Dawn look horrified at her new husband, “If I choose to stay home then it will be because I choose. I had been thinking of a new line within my business but I was going to discuss it with you when we got home but now…”

Dawn was now so upset she turned away from Estevan. He knew he was in the wrong and shouldn’t have twisted everything and calmly said, “Darling I’m sorry. I am going to tell Blair no to the drugs and I didn’t want to frighten you by forcing the door so I said that about your business instead. I hate to say this but you don’t come across the housewife type.”
Dawn’s tone was firm as she stated, “Tell Blair now or I leave.”

Blair had heard on the phone Dawn’s temper start but now he was waiting for his fate, “Aren’t you going to say something?” Teddy lay on the bed and replied, “What do you want me to say? Yell, scream, please Blair tell me?” There it was the harsh tone of his wife, “You are angry at me for considering the drugs again?”
“No. I’m fine.” Blair went to hug her but she responded by saying, “Blair I’m tired.” He got off the bed and shouted, “Fine I’ll say no ok just please don’t be like that.”

Teddy and a smile on her face and responded softly, “Now that’s over come back to bed for a bit.”

Sunlit Tides

“The answer is no. Tell Carl thanks but we are out.” Estevan said to Blair.
“I had time to think and I thought the same thing.”
“You mean Teddy got to you?”
“Dawn yelled at you.”
“Point taken Blair. Look after Teddy and the baby. My advice to you is head to Monte Vista now for a good relaxing holiday.”
“Hope Dawn is ok with you now, Bye.”
“Me too, bye.”

Estevan saw Dawn looking at him, “I’m sorry really I am. I shouldn’t have said anything. What was your new business idea?”
“I was thinking about designing nurseries only as well as your future businesses.” Estevan held her, “I really like that idea now please can we forget the last hour and pick up from where we were in bed. I’d really like a honeymoon baby.”
“Don’t ever yell at me again like that.”

Estevan smiled and pulled her in close for tender kiss, “I won’t and I will never deal again. I love you.”
“I love you too; just remember you have a lot to lose if you go back.”

Estevan picked her up and started to carry her to the bedroom, “Estevan, what are you doing?”
“You are right about the drugs but I’m bored of talking. Now I am going to make love to my beautiful bride.” Dawn grinned at him and asked, “What do you have in mind?”
“You’ll see.” Closing the door behind him.

4.29 Do I Say yes or No?

Starlight Shores

Teddy sat on the sofa and asked, “Blair why are we here?” Blair sat next to her and replied, “Don’t you remember? You came here and I came after you. Then I took you for our first date.” Teddy put her head on his lap.

“I remember you are a good dancer.” Blair smiled at her and replied, “Gorgeous, I’ve missed you these last few months and I meant what I said I’m going to make it up to you.” Teddy bit her lip listening to Blair and kept thinking, ‘Shut up already and kiss me. I mean really kiss me.’ Blair immediately got up and requested Teddy followed him. She took his hand as he led her towards the fire place upstairs. Blair had arranged a romantic setting with candles and flowers along with champagne. “You did this for me?”

As he wrapped his arms around her he replied, “I did it for us. Now come and sit down.”
Teddy was waiting for a response from Blair as she sat there but there wasn’t one. The only thing he had done was offer a glass of champagne but she refused the glass because she was pregnant. ‘He has brought me all this way and we are going to just sit here.’

Teddy thought as she looked at her husband. Then it had occurred to her that giving Blair a hard time about not being there could have affected him. “Blair, are you mad at me?”
He calmly replied, “A little…”
“What did I do?”
“I was away from you for months trying to hunt Adam. Then you and the others deal with it in a few days. It’s my job to look after you not the other way around.”

Teddy cradled his face as he leaned in towards her, “It maybe your job to protect me but it’s my job to protect you as well.” Blair with his cheeky grin asked, “Have you forgiven me yet?”
“I’m warming to the idea.”

Blair pulled her on top of him and asked, “What can I do to warm you to the idea?”
“I told you through my thoughts just kiss me.” Blair didn’t hesitate in accepting her request. After a while he asked, “How was that?” Teddy smiled pointing to her neck and with a cheeky tone said, “Now, kiss me here.” Once he’d kissed her on the neck Blair asked, “Anyone would think you are trying to get me into bed.” Teddy had a smug look on her face and replied, “Is that a problem?” Teddy was shocked at Blair’s response, “Actually it is.” Teddy was about to speak but Blair put his finger on her lips and continued, “When we went to the wedding and I saw you in that stunning dress I wanted to rip it off your body and have you there and then but we were fighting and I felt cheated.” Teddy kissed him, “Funny you should say that because the suit you wore I felt the same way and as for the dress I brought it with me.” Blair looked into her eyes and simply said, “I love you.”

He pulled her close and just held her as they both fell asleep in front of the fire.
Teddy woke to the smell of breakfast and made her way downstairs. The table was already set and she saw Blair plating up food. “Food smells good.”
“This is my third attempt and this time it’s not burnt.” Teddy laughed, “Ok so I’m not good at cooking breakfast.” Blair stated.

“I think you should let me be the judge of that.” As they started to eat the food it became clear that Blair’s food was awful but Teddy not wanting to hurt his feeling continued to eat and said, “So what is the plan for today?” Blair looked at her and replied, “First thing I’m doing is taking you out for breakfast.” Teddy tried to argue but Blair wasn’t listening and insisted that they were leaving ten minutes.

On their way to the local restaurant Blair asked, “Do you know what the sex of the baby is?”
“I didn’t want to know. Harmony wants a little sister.” Blair chuckled slightly and pulling Teddy close to him asked, “If Harmony is right and she has a little sister what do we call her.”
“I hadn’t thought of name because you weren’t here.”

Blair stopped walking and kissed Teddy softly and replied, “Well I’m here now.”
“I guess we will have to start thinking of names then. The baby is due in a few weeks. I should be home resting not on holiday.”
“This is a perfect way for you to rest and with me keeping an eye on you.”

When they got to the restaurant they ordered their food and Teddy asked, “Before we discuss baby names, are you and Estevan going to work together again?”
Blair sat back in his chair, “I am thinking about it but I want a better deal so we will see. I know William and Blake will not be happy but I want a better cut.”
“Gorgeous will you excuse me I’ve just seen someone I know.” Teddy had a bad feeling about this but continued to watch Blair talk to the man.

“Blair didn’t expect to see you around here.” The men shook hands and Blair replied, “How the fuck did you get out.”
“I have good solicitors and on appeal they over turned my conviction. Heard you and the boss had a bad time with some dealers? Sorry about not warning you about those two before I got sent down. Listen if you and boss are still interested in a shipment just call me. Here is the new number and we will have the same deal as before.”

Blair took the number as soon as the guy disappeared he rang Estevan, “This better be an emergency Blair cause I am busy.” Blair yelled, “Go in the other room now.” He waited for a moment and then continued, “Guess who got out on appeal?” “Carl is out?” Estevan asked in shock. “What do you want me to do say yes or no to the shipment?”

4.28 We have each other

As they watched the sun come up Lexy said, “The last few days have been great but I guess it’s time to get back to reality.” Holding Lexy, Blake replied, “This time we have each other. When we get back home we can…”

Lexy turned around and held Blake’s face and said, “We do have each other but I have a house and I need to go home.”

Blake pulled away from Lexy and started to raise his voice, “No, you are not going back there and this is not up for discussion.”

Lexy screamed back which took Blake by surprise, “I’m not someone you can control, Blake. I understand that you are worried because of what Adam did to me in the house but it is still my home. I mean your Dad is great but I don’t want to live with anyone’s parents.” After she said her piece she stormed off. Blake chased after her, “Lexy, wait.” A few minutes later Lexy stopped and said to Blake with a harsh tone, “What?”

“I didn’t mean it the way it came out.” Lexy just looked at him and replied, “Yes you did and you expected me to just go along with you and not put up a fight. I will not be a push over. I want a future with you but not if that means you think I will do everything you say.”
Blake in a firm tone replied, “This is not about controlling you Lexy. I’m worried about you going into the house and having flashbacks and being scared. However if you really need to go back then I will bring your things back to the house but if you feel uncomfortable at any time I’ll be there, agreed?”

Lexy tightened her grip around his waist, “Thank you.” Blake knew he could have handled it better but deep down he was worried. Since the night she was attacked she hadn’t been home and he wasn’t sure how stepping back into the house would affect her. He brushed his hand through her hair and softly replied, “I’m sorry the way I yelled, Lex. I’m just very worried about you.”
“I know you are but I will be fine.” She wasn’t convinced by her own words but hoped things would be fine, “To celebrate our last few hours here would you allow me to cook you dinner?”
“Blake that is sweet but we are staying with Will and Heather.” Blake had a grin on his face, “Ah but I have my Dad’s keys to the house.” He pulled her close and started to kiss her and in between kisses said, “We can be alone and enjoy each other’s company until our plane leaves.”
“Sounds wonderful. When do we go?” Blake cupped her face, “Now would be good.”

Blake put dinner on and when he turned he saw how beautiful Lexy looked. He could resist but lean over the counter to kiss her. “When you said you wouldn’t live with parents…”
Lexy smirked as she said, “Yes.”
“You wouldn’t spend the night either then?”

She walked around to where Blake was standing and looked into his eyes, “I never said I wouldn’t spend the night but you don’t want to stay at mine, do you?” Blake looked away and paused then looking back at Lexy said, “No I don’t because of what happened.” Lexy walked over to the sofa and asked as she sat down, “How do we solve this?” Blake sat next to her, “I guess it’s time I moved out. I mean Dad will want his house back. Dawn will want to try for a baby and I’ll just be in their way. It’s either that or crash at my brother’s.”

“I could help you look.” She rested her head on his lap and he looked at her lovingly saying, “I’d really like that. Now if you would like to make your way to the table I’ll plate up dinner.”
Lexy sat waiting for her meal and suddenly the room went dark as Blake switched off the lights. Suddenly the table became lit by the glow of candles, he leaned in and kissed her putting a meal in front of her. “Dinner is served.”

He sat opposite Lexy looking at her face glow with the flickering of light, “Lexy, What?”
“This is so sweet and once we are home it’s all going to end.” He saw a tear trickle down her face.
“Our relationship has only just started, please don’t cry.”

He went over to her and held her in an embrace, “It’s just no man has ever been this romantic before.” As she wiped the tears from face, “What I mean is no man has ever cooked for me before.”
“I was taught how to cook and I learnt from Will that woman love a man that cooks.” Lexy started to laugh, “Your brother gave you good advice there. Is that how he won Heather?”
“No and don’t ask me because he swore me to secrecy, you know a brother thing.”
“Now I am curious.”
“Let’s drop the subject as Heather doesn’t even know I know. Now let’s talk about us.”

When he sat back down they forgot about the meal as Lexy sat on his lap and asked, “What kind of house do you want?”
“As long as you visit I don’t care.” Lexy looked hurt and teased Blake, “You only want me to visit?”
He held her face and replied, “If you wanted to stay the night I wouldn’t say no.”

4.27 You have a deal

Advisory Some nude and adult scenes

Once the door had closed Matt made his way to Hazel’s room and walked straight in and wrapped his arms around his fiancée, “I don’t know why you are getting dressed because you know I’m only going to remove them again.”

Hazel looked at him with love and replied, “Won’t we get disturb?”
“Dad and Paris have just left. Paris agreed to get him out of the house so we could be alone.”

Hazel now had a grin on her face, “In that case we’d better remove your clothes.” As she trailed her hands down his chest, she pulled him towards the bed and as she sat down Hazel pulled him on top of her, “I thought we were removing my clothes first.”
“I want us to kiss first then…” Hazel stopped and finished the sentence by whispering in Matt’s ear and when she finished Matt had gone into shock, “I take it by that look it will be your first time?” Matt was lost for words and couldn’t say anything but nod in agreement.

Spencer blurted out, “Paris I have to go back to the house. I forgot my wallet.” Paris looked him in the eye and said, “It’s in your back pocket. Just leave Mathew and Hazel alone.”
“I can’t….”

Paris started to yell, “Spencer I love you but your son is newly engaged and he wants time alone with his fiancée and you can’t blame him. You can’t protect him forever now leave them too it. Do you like Hazel?”
“I think she is wonderful and Matt is head over heels for her.”
“Then it sounds like there is no problem and stop treating him like a child or you won’t have a relationship with him much longer.”

Spencer kissed Paris and replied, “You are right, I just get worried to easily. Once his Mum left I became both Mum and Dad. Letting go is difficult but I have to or lose him permanently.”

Matt leaned over to kiss Hazel and said, “You are driving me crazy. I can’t hold on much longer.”
“Me either.” When Matt finally entered Hazel, she let out a moan. He tried to hold back but the passion and desire was too much and it was all over.

Matt sat on the edge of the bed upset. Hazel was puzzled and sat beside him, “Matt, what’s wrong?”
“I didn’t want it over that quick. You must hate me.” Hazel pulled him close and said, “I love you. Sex can be like that sometimes. You have done nothing wrong. If you want we can go again in a few minutes.” Matt face lit up, “I’ll miss this place when we go home tomorrow.”
“Yeah me too. Kirsten is arranging an engagement party for us.”

Grinning at Hazel he asked, “You told her on purpose, didn’t you?”
Hazel looked away then said, “Maybe, I just wanted a party.” Matt started to get dressed and said to Hazel, “Get dressed we need to talk.

After making food Matt said, “It will be a few years before we get married.”
“I know that but you are telling me this for a reason. What’s going on?”
“How would you feel if I went to university?” Hazel looked upset as she stared into his eyes, “Think about it Haz, I can get a good job with good pay, a better life for both of us.”
“No there is more to this and I want to know.”
“Uncle Estevan wants to give us a gift once we are married.” Hazel just stared as Matt continued, “If I agree to go to university and study business I get the arcade. If I agree to his terms he and Uncle William will run it putting all money into an account for us and on graduation day it all becomes ours.”
“When was this discussed?” Hazel demanded.
“When he spoke to me on his wedding day. He told me to talk to you then let him know.”
“Has he chosen the university too?”
“Haz, don’t be upset. I thought I could attend the local university so I can still live at the house with you.” Hazel started to raise her voice, “You never said about going to university before but now?”

Matt crouched down and saw how upset she was, “Remember I said I was travelling?” Hazel now met his eyes, “I stopped because of you. I want to be with you but I do want to go university. The plan was travel, university then meet someone but I never thought I’d meet someone first. I’m not interested in anyone but you.”
“I’ve heard rumours about the parties the students have…”
“I’d be there to study not party. We will talk again about this Haz but you said something about making love again.” He pulled Hazel to her feet cupping her face as he kissed her then led her back to her room to make love once again.

A while later Hazel was on the porch thinking about everything that had been discussed earlier. She had to admit having a business already established to start married life was more than generous but would it right for them?

“What are you thinking about?” Matt asked as he leaned against the railing.

“It’s a wonderful offer but don’t you think Estevan is still trying to control everything you do?”

Matt leaned over her and replied, “I can see why you would think that but any questions just ask him and he will be honest with you. I think he made the offer because he thinks of me as family. I also think after Dad
panicked  about us getting engaged Estevan decided to give us a generous offer of a business so we would wait and get married.”

“So if we got married next week for example the offer would be taken back?” Estevan appeared and suggested they spoke about this inside. “I thought you were on honeymoon not to be disturbed?”

“We are but I knew when you told Hazel about the offer she would have questions. The question you asked outside about retracting the offer if you married next week. Answer would be no I wouldn’t but you still wouldn’t have the business until 4 years had passed because that is how long university takes.”

“So you are trying to control us?” Hazel demanded but Dawn stepped in, “I think Spencer and Estevan are both worried that you are very young to be engaged. However they love Mathew and all they are asking is to complete your education and if you can, this is your wedding gift with no strings.”

Hazel looked at Dawn and said, “I have a job…” Estevan interrupted her, “Did you finish your education?”
“Ummm no I dropped out at the last minute so I didn’t finish my exams.”
“Then go to university with Matt and study together.” Estevan got up to leave but said, “Look all I’m trying to do is give a good opportunity here so you don’t end up struggling. If you turn me down I won’t be offended.”

Matt looked at Hazel holding her close, “What do you say? We can save up and have a great wedding then buy our own place.” Hazel still looking at Matt asked Estevan, “Do we have to move back to Painswater Point or can we live where we choose?”
Estevan smiled, “I told you no strings so it’s your choice.”

Matt came up to Estevan hugged him and said, “You have a deal but I want to study in Lucky Palms.”
Paris walked in with Spencer, “I kept him away for as long as possible.” When Spencer saw Matt hug Estevan relief washed over him. “You accepted the offer?”
“I’m going to university but I’m not coming home, not yet anyway.”

Hazel was shocked when Spencer hugged her and said, “Thank you.”
